As you know enchanted wyrm crests do not need sparks. Is the guy crafting your gear an enchanter? You need enchanting to be able to make the enchanted crests. I guess all three were lying then. Then if you did everything correctly. Then it must be a bug or a UI problem on your end. Because I craft alot and have never come across this problem.
